MGForum Thematic Session : Humanitarian Crises in the Mediterranean: Consequences and Responses
Il Tempo della Memoria Association is organizing in collaboration with the Mediterranean Gulf Forum and the Municipality of Stintino, a thematic session entitled ” Humanitarian Crisis, Consequences and Responses ” in Stintino, on December 4th, 2015.
This thematic session will feature prominent decision makers, officials and experts from Europe, the Middle East and Africa with the purpose of examining the Humanitarian Crises in the Mediterranean represented by the flows of hundreds thousands of immigrants moving from the Southern shores to the Northern shores due to the instability in their homeland .The conference will identify the political and legal countermeasures to be implemented on a local, national and international level in order to effectively prevent this phenomenon.
